Description
A trio of decorative wooden boxes consisting of a large hardwood box, a signed hand-painted box, and an inlaid vanity box. The largest box features high-relief carving to the lid depicting a dragon with inset red bead eyes, bordered by a repeating geometric pattern and bamboo-style carved edges. The second item is a smaller hinged wooden box, the lid hand-painted with a depiction of a bird and floral sprigs, signed in the upper left corner J. Raphael. This box contains an assortment of miniature carved architectural models and vessels. The third item is a dark wood vanity box featuring mother-of-pearl floral inlay to the lid, opening to reveal a fitted interior mirror and a matching wooden comb set against a red fabric lining.

Condition report:
The items are in fair to good condition. Visible surface scuffs and minor scratches are present across all three boxes. There is an accumulation of dust within the recessed areas of the deep relief dragon carving. Metal hinges and clasps show signs of light tarnishing. The interior mirror of the vanity box is intact, and the fabric lining shows minor wear consistent with age.
