Description
A vintage magnetic tabletop soccer game manufactured by Casdon in England, circa 1968. The game features a green moulded plastic base designed as a football pitch with recessed player positions, operated by plastic control knobs at each corner in red and cream. This set is endorsed by the footballer Bobby Charlton and features his printed signature and likeness on the packaging and game board. The lot includes two white plastic goals and two clear plastic bags containing a collection of red and white plastic player figures. Labels on the game board include the Casdon Soccer logo and Bobby Charlton signature alongside a CB diamond mark. The base of the board and the box are marked with patent number 23374/68.

Condition report:
The original cardboard box displays significant age-related wear, including creasing, surface scuffing, edge tears, and a crushed top corner. Visible adhesive tape residue is present on the box exterior. The plastic game board remains in good structural condition with light surface scratches and minor dust accumulation. Original labels are intact but show light edge lifting. Goals and player figures appear in good order.
