Description
This assortment of vintage items comprises various British collectables and decorative pieces. Included is a Royal Worcester fine porcelain egg coddler, presented in its original box with an attached instruction tag. The lot features an Automobile Association chrome and yellow enamel car badge. A large hand-painted wooden egg depicts a figure in traditional folk dress. Ephemera and small curios include a 1978 L and RSBRA Summer League fabric patch, a boxed Rolls Razor strop dressing, a Cool and Gay folding fan box, and two framed miniature prints: one advertising Cadburys Cocoa and another titled 1871 Penny Farthing 1929. The collection further contains a ceramic figurine of a monkey in military uniform, a magnifying glass, a small spirit flask, a decorative cork stopper with a metallic mount, and an ornate metal pillbox with a scrolling foliate lid in a blue presentation box. Also present is an oval box containing a ceramic handle decorated with floral motifs. A Singer marked wooden ruler is visible in the background of the arrangement.
Condition report:
The condition of the items is mixed. The Cool and Gay fan box displays significant edge wear and creasing. Framed prints show some evidence of foxing to the mounts. Metalware items exhibit surface wear, scratches, and patination commensurate with age and use. Boxes and packaging show general shelf wear and minor abrasions.
