Description
An agricultural Iron and Wood livestock bell assembly comprising a folded and welded iron sheet bell of tapered rectangular form. The bell is suspended from a hand-carved V-shaped wooden yoke via two thick leather straps, secured by wooden retaining pins. The yoke is fitted with a central metal bracket at the apex. The interior contains a functional iron clapper suspended from a simple loop. No maker marks or inscriptions are present on the bell or the yoke components.

Condition report:
Heavy oxidation and pitting are visible across the surface of the iron bell (photo 2). The carved wooden yoke exhibits age-related checking and surface wear to the edges (photo 1). The leather straps are significantly degraded with widespread surface cracking and brittleness (photo 1). Substantial rust and oxidation are present on the internal clapper and its mounting loop (photo 3).
