Description
A Silver bib necklace comprising eleven bezel-set cabochon stones of varied shapes including ovoid, teardrop and irregular rectangular forms. The stones are orbicular jasper, displaying characteristic eye-like patterns in a palette of mauve, purple, ochre and chocolate brown. The arrangement features a central cascading drop section suspended from twin trace-link chains. The necklace is secured with a hook-style clasp. No marks or signatures are present.
Condition report:
The necklace is in very good condition. The jasper stones are secure in their bezel settings with no visible chips or cracks to the polished surfaces (photos 1 and 2). The silver metalwork shows light surface wear and minor tarnish consistent with typical use. The chain and connecting loops appear sound and the clasp functions correctly.
