Description
A vintage Steel trigger-operated pump oiler featuring a cylindrical reservoir body and an articulated pump mechanism. The item is fitted with a long, curved spout terminating in a threaded tip, connected to a manual trigger lever. The cast metal cap and mechanism retain a brown finish, contrasting with the main reservoir body which displays a naturally aged and oxidised surface. The top of the cap is stamped WESCO B’HAM. The hinge area is further stamped with the characters Nos PAT followed by the patent numbers 228042, 277199, and 306343.

Condition report:
The cylindrical steel body shows heavy and uniform surface oxidation and rust throughout (photos 1, 2, and 4). The cast metal cap and trigger mechanism exhibit accumulated grime and wear to the brown finish, consistent with workshop use (photo 3). The articulated spout is intact and functional, shown in both horizontal and raised vertical positions (photos 2 and 4).
