Description
An Oak presentation boxed gavel comprising a turned wooden gavel and matching rectangular storage case. The gavel is constructed with a cylindrical head featuring triple ribbed detailing to each end and a turned handle with a ringed collar. The box features a polished grain finish and opens on twin brass-toned hinges to reveal a shaped interior insert lined in blue fabric designed to cradle the gavel. The piece shows no visible maker’s marks, signatures or inscriptions.

Condition report:
Minor surface scuffs are visible to the exterior wood of the box and gavel (photo 1). The blue fabric lining shows light compression marks where the gavel rests (photo 2). No other visible faults.
