Description
A black painted wood and glass display frame containing twelve natural history butterfly specimens pinned to a white card backing. The collection is arranged in three horizontal rows, featuring various species with distinct wing patterns and vibrant colours. Each insect is accompanied by a rectangular typed paper label reading Papilio maackii, Hestina assimi, Sasakia charonda, Oranges and tangerines, Damora sagana, Danidae, Papilio helenus, Apatura iris, Sephisa chandra, Polyura narcaea, Pieridae, and Vindula sapor. The specimens include various swallowtails and nymphalids in a professionally mounted display. The glazed frame features a plain black finish.

Condition report:
The butterflies are in well-preserved condition with no visible losses to the wings or antennae (photo 1). The frame and glass are intact with only minor shelf wear and dust.
