Description
A stylized ceramic terrier figurine featuring an elongated body and textured vertical fur markings. The piece is finished in a matte honey-tan glaze with minimalist features including two small black circular eyes. The form is characterized by its rectangular silhouette, short legs, and an upright tail. The underside displays a rectangular stamp containing the characters MADE IN ENGLAND, with a script Denby mark and an incised number 40. The unglazed base is designed with a central circular aperture.

Condition report:
Crazing is present across the glazed exterior (photo 1). The unglazed underside shows surface soiling and shelf wear (photo 2). There is a small chip on the interior rim of the base aperture (photo 2).
