Description
A cloth sleeve insignia patch featuring an embroidered motif on an olive-drab cotton twill backing. The machine-embroidered design comprises a white palm tree positioned before a yellow sun with radiating rays, a white swastika at the base, and a surrounding white oak leaf wreath on a green oval field. Accompanying the patch is a pair of glazed white ceramic miniature clogs decorated in a blue and white Delft style. Each clog features hand-painted scenes of windmills and sailing vessels, joined together by a twisted blue and white cord. The lot contains no legible maker marks or signatures.
Condition report:
The patch shows no visible signs of wear, fraying or moth damage, with all thread colours remaining vibrant. The ceramic clogs exhibit an intact glaze with no observable chips, cracks or repairs.
