Description
A pair of stud earrings of oval form, each featuring a geometric mosaic inlay constructed from various natural materials. The abstract design comprises polished iridescent green and blue abalone shell segments, white mother of pearl, and a small circular orange inlay, all precisely fitted into a black composite base. The reverse of each earring is finished with a flat black surface and is fitted with a silver post and a contemporary butterfly backing featuring a circular clear plastic support pad. The earrings form a matched pair with no visible hallmarks, maker marks, or country of origin stamps.

Condition report:
The earrings are in good vintage condition and form a matched pair. There is a visible hairline join or natural fissure in the mother of pearl inlay on the left earring (photo 1). The backings show light surface wear consistent with age (photo 2).
