The opposing panel is printed with the brand name GILBERT in large black block characters. Legible signatures on the surface include former players and coaches Steve Bates and Stuart Legg, alongside others appearing to read Cath Daly and Passinedale. The ball is fitted with two black circular valve plugs on the maker panel.
