Description
A collection of paper banknotes comprising international currency from Australia, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Cyprus. The group includes an Australian ten dollar note, serial number UUG 122509, depicting Francis Greenway and Henry Lawson. The lot also features a French 20 Francs note dated 1997, serial 738802, featuring Claude Debussy, and a Bank of England one pound note, serial H71 160114, bearing the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the signature of J. B. Page. The Spanish currency is a 1000 Pesetas note dated 23 de Octubre de 1979, serial W8317158 E, showing Benito Pérez Galdós. Two Cyprus notes complete the collection, comprising a one pound note dated 1.12.1998, serial Z960911, and a five pound note dated 1.2.2001, serial H061501. Each note is printed with detailed vignettes and security patterns.

Condition report:
The banknotes are in circulated condition. The Spanish 1000 Pesetas note shows a sharp vertical centre fold, significant corner creasing, and softened edges (photo 1). The Australian ten dollar note is heavily creased with softened corners. The French 20 Francs note has a central horizontal fold and handling marks. The two Cyprus notes show light corner softening. The Bank of England one pound note is in Extremely Fine condition with crisp paper and minimal handling marks visible.
