Description
A decorative Silver Plated hand magnifying glass featuring a circular glass lens secured within a polished frame. The handle is constructed from a yellow annulated composite material and is joined to the frame by a cast ferrule decorated with foliate and beaded relief motifs. The handle terminates in a substantial pommel with corresponding relief-cast ornamentation and a flared crown-shaped finial, with no marks or inscriptions visible.
Condition report:
The lens is clear and appears free from significant chips or scratches. The silver plated frame and decorative mounts show light surface wear and tarnish within the recessed areas of the casting. The yellow handle remains intact without visible cracks or discoloration.
