Description
An acrylic commemorative paperweight of rectangular form produced to mark thirty years of Porsche at AFN, covering the period 1954 to 1984. The clear block contains an embedded natural oyster shell displayed in cross-section with a small central pearl. The front face of the weight is printed with the text 30 YEARS OF PORSCHE AT AFN in black alongside the PORSCHE and AFN logos in black and red. The lower portion of the block is further printed with the date range 1954-1984. AFN Ltd was the original importer of Porsche vehicles into the United Kingdom, and this piece commemorates three decades of their commercial association.

Condition report:
The acrylic block displays surface scuffing and fine scratches consistent with desk use, most visible across the front and rear faces (photo 1, 4). Several small air bubbles are trapped within the resin surrounding the outer perimeter of the oyster shell (photo 2). The shell itself shows natural variations in colour and texture (photo 3).
