The collection also comprises a tartan patterned box, a small tin with a butterfly and floral motif, and a circular brown tin with a label reading LICORICE & MENTHOL PELLETS. Utensils include a pair of metal forceps with textured cross-hatched handles and a wooden-handled tool. Glass and ceramic items include a small stoneware jar, a clear pressed glass inkwell, and a brown glazed ceramic bottle with a cork stopper. Personal accessories include a Silver hip flask with a screw-top lid and a tortoiseshell patterned cigarette case. A wooden ruler visible in the lot is stamped MADE IN ENGLAND and SINCE 1895.

Width: 28 cm.

Condition report:

The primary tin shows heavy age-related wear, including significant surface oxidation and rust to the interior lid and base, and extensive loss to the exterior lithographed finish (photo 2). The contents are in varied condition; the white resin sculpture shows surface soiling, and the metal components of the miniatures exhibit minor verdigris and dust accumulation throughout. The metal forceps show surface tarnishing and wear to the textured handles (photo 1). The stoneware and glass bottles appear intact with minor surface dirt.
