Description
A collection of Silver Plated and metalware decorative items and ceramics. The lot features a silver plated dressing table set comprising a hand mirror and hairbrush with embossed floral and scroll decoration, housed in a black textured presentation box marked Classics By H. SAMUEL. A small silver plated milk jug and sugar bowl are included, both fitted with black plastic handles. The collection contains three boxes: a rectangular silver plated box with a foliate repoussé design, a rectangular box with leaded stained-glass panels in a Glasgow Rose style, and a vintage Skipper Brand British Navy Cut tobacco tin. Further items include multiple small ornate metal frames, a curved hip flask with an engraved carriage scene, and a rectangular tray with engine-turned geometric decoration. Decorative accents include a brass figurine of a flamingo and a ceramic Canopic jar. A globular pottery vessel features a printed circular mark on the base reading ORIGINAL AUSTRALIAN POTTERY with a handwritten signature reading Gitt. A paper insert in the dressing table box is printed with the text This product is SILVERPLATED.

Condition report:
The silver plated items show varying degrees of surface tarnishing and wear to the plating, particularly visible on the tea service items and small frames (photo 3). The tobacco tin exhibits surface rust and paint loss to the lid and sides (photo 1). The stained-glass box appears intact with no visible cracks to the panels (photo 3). The ceramic items show no visible chips or cracks, although the Gitt pottery piece has light surface staining to the underside of the base (photo 5).
