Description
A collection of vintage vanity and decorative items comprising several scent bottles and various collectibles. The lot includes a circular cut-glass perfume atomiser featuring a diamond point pattern, fitted with a silver collar and a pink fabric squeeze bulb and tassel. An Art Deco glass scent bottle with square shoulders is decorated with a silver floral overlay and a faceted glass stopper. Also included is a bulbous brass scent bottle with a tiered finial stopper. The collection further features a circular metal compact with a romantic-style transfer print, a rectangular silver case, and a gold mesh evening bag. Decorative items include a large dark-stained wooden wall plaque depicting a stylized African profile with a textured headdress, a white ceramic poodle figurine with a pink bow, and a red-cased mechanical alarm clock with a cream dial and Arabic numerals. A boxed letter opener with a white handle sits alongside a wooden-handled corkscrew, a folding knife, and a handheld brass magnifying glass. A white cardboard box is marked with the letters R I T Z, and a Guinness-branded bottle cap features the brand name and harp logo. Condition report:
The items are in varied vintage condition. The pink fabric pump on the glass atomiser shows fraying and discolouration. Metal components, including the brass bottle and card case, show surface patina and tarnishing consistent with age. The gold mesh bag exhibits wear to the finish. The ceramic poodle has minor surface dirt. The liquid level in the atomiser is approximately 25 percent. All items show minor surface scuffing and wear from use.
