Description
A collection of British and Commonwealth military and royal commemorative textiles comprising a large red silk or rayon handkerchief printed with various regimental insignia including the Commonwealth Military Forces and the British Army. The collection includes white handkerchiefs, one featuring the Royal Artillery motto QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT and artillery pieces, another featuring a central portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the date 1953, and a colourful textile printed with the Union Jack and various national emblems featuring the date 1937. A white textile piece features blue embroidery reading ROYAL NAVY. The lot also includes a brown crocodile-effect leather folding case with a central oval metal plaque and a pair of heavy-duty industrial metal shears.

Condition report:
The textiles show heavy folding creases and minor yellowing consistent with age across all pieces. The 1937 commemorative scarf shows fraying at the edges. The leather case shows surface wear and scuffing to the edges and corners. The industrial shears exhibit significant surface oxidation and dark patination overall.
