Description
A pair of Silver drop earrings, each comprising a polished ball-style stud leading to a fine trace link chain. The chains terminate in heart-shaped pendants, featuring a decorative milgrain-style beaded border. The central sections of the hearts are set with white polished inserts, showing the iridescent chatoyancy characteristic of mother-of-pearl. The earrings are secured with post and butterfly friction backs. The metal surfaces are bright and polished throughout. The reverse of the butterfly scrolls and the earring posts bear small indentations, which are not legible as specific characters.
Condition report:
The earrings are in good condition with no visible faults. The metal surfaces show minor micro-scratches consistent with light wear (photo 1). The mother-of-pearl inserts are intact with no visible cracking, chips, or loss (photo 2). The chain links and pendant attachments appear secure.
