Description
A Silver pendant featuring a rectangular cushion-cut cabochon of banded agate. The gemstone displays a natural palette of terracotta, cream, and greyish-white wavy inclusions. The stone is secured in a polished rub-over setting with an open reverse to allow light through the translucent portions of the agate. The piece is finished with a decorative cast openwork bail featuring scroll and heart-like motifs. The reverse of the mount, positioned just below the bail, is stamped with the characters 925 alongside other small impressed marks.
Condition report:
The pendant is in good condition. The silver mount shows minor surface scratches and light tarnishing consistent with wear. The agate cabochon is secure in the setting with no visible cracks or chips to the polished surface.
