Description
An Art Deco leather folding travel alarm clock featuring a square brass dial. The dial is bordered by a frame of pink guilloche enamel decorated with a repeating chevron pattern. The tarnished gold-tone dial face is set with stylized Arabic numerals and squelette hands, both designed to hold luminous material. The clock is housed within a dark brown textured leather protective case with a brass press-release catch and a dark fabric interior lining. A mechanical hand-wound movement is situated within a brass housing, with the winding crown and setting knob accessible at the base when open. The movement housing is plain brass with several indentations but bears no readable maker marks, signatures, or serial numbers.

Condition report:
The exterior leather case shows significant wear, scuffing, and loss of finish, particularly at the corners and edges (photo 3). The interior fabric lining is stained, frayed, and shows signs of age (photo 2). The gold-tone dial face is heavily oxidized and tarnished, with darkened areas visible around the centre and edges (photo 1). The luminous material in the numerals and hands has deteriorated and darkened significantly (photo 1). The pink guilloche enamel appears largely intact with only minor surface scratches (photo 1). The glass crystal shows surface dust and minor marks (photo 1). The mechanical movement and alarm function are untested.
