Description
A collection of vintage costume jewellery presented in a rectangular lithographed metal tin. The assortment comprises various necklaces, bracelets, and bangles featuring a range of materials and styles from the mid to late 20th century. Notable pieces include a silver heart-shaped pendant set with a central blue cat’s-eye cabochon and scrollwork detailing, suspended from a textured chain. The lot also includes a purple and white disc-beaded stretch bracelet, a silver mesh circular bracelet, a thick silver cuff with a textured interior, and several thin wire bangles. Strands of clear faceted glass beads, iridescent faux pearls, and turquoise-coloured beads are present alongside loose components in shades of green and pink. The hinged storage tin features a cream-coloured exterior with vertical stripes and a lithographed design of pink roses connected by gold chain swags, with the text NET WT. 1 POUND printed on the front lower edge. The ruler in the background is a wooden SINGER example marked MADE IN ENGLAND.

Condition report:
The items are in used vintage condition with visible tangling to the necklaces and beaded strands (photo 1). The metal components show general surface wear, light scratches, and areas of tarnish consistent with age. The tin box exhibits wear along the edges and hinges, with minor surface abrasions to the lithographed decoration (photo 2).
