Description

A trio of decorative objects and a skeleton pocket watch. The open-face pocket watch features a polished silver case with a white outer dial ring displaying black Roman numerals and an outer minute track. A central aperture reveals the silver and brass-toned mechanical movement. The watch is accompanied by a silver curb link chain with a T-bar and clip, presented in a black fabric-lined box. Included is a three-draw terrestrial telescope constructed from polished brass, featuring a primary barrel wrapped in brown leather with visible cross-stitch detailing. The telescope is paired with a matching rigid brown leather carry case. The lot is completed by two circular medallions featuring white bas-relief Jasperware figures on a dark ground, one depicting the Three Graces and the other two dancing figures. Each medallion is mounted in a brass frame with a top suspension loop and housed in a brown velvet-lined presentation box. The wooden rule in the background is printed with MADE IN ENGLAND.

Retracted length: 15 cm
Extended length: 42 cm.

Condition report:

The pocket watch appears in good cosmetic condition with no visible scratches to the crystal or case (photo 2). The brass telescope shows minor surface patina consistent with handled metal and the leather wrap is intact without significant scuffing (photo 1). The framed medallions show surface dust to the glass covers but no visible cracks or losses to the Jasperware or frames (photo 3). The leather telescope case remains structurally sound with light wear to the edges.
