Description
A varied collection of vintage curios, miniatures, and ephemera housed in a rectangular gold-tone tin tray. The assortment includes a Rennie Mackintosh Pewter picture frame featuring a black and white portrait and text reading RENNIE MACKINTOSH PEWTER and THE MAN AT THE MACKINTOSH STYLE. A green metal tin is present, bearing a printed label for Stanley Gibbons London, England, marked ITEM 2000 3071 STAMP HINGES MEDIUM PEELABLE. The lot further comprises a miniature red GR post box money bank, a green glass bottle with an adhesive label for eau de cologne HERMES PARIS, and a brass-handled magnifying glass. A selection of figurines includes several elephants in various materials, a pig, a mouse, and a plush mole wearing glasses. Also included is a Daddies Sauce advertising card, a cloisonné egg with gold-tone scrolling, a metal military-style cap badge with a GR cipher, a large circular openwork brooch, and a metal folding tool.

Condition report:
The collection shows general signs of age-related wear throughout. The Stanley Gibbons tin exhibits surface scratches and paint loss, particularly around the edges (photo 1). The gold-tone tin tray shows tarnishing and minor scuffs to the interior and base (photo 2). The Rennie Mackintosh pewter frame has surface dulling consistent with the material (photo 1). The plush mole figure shows some matting to the faux fur (photo 1). The brass magnifying glass handle and military badge exhibit surface tarnish (photo 2).
