Description
A plastic animated room alarm modelled as a Destroyer Droid from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The figure features a metallic-effect bronze and silver finish and is mounted upon a black circular base with a motion sensor and control buttons. The droid is designed to transform from a closed wheel sentry position to an open attack position when the heat-sensitive infrared detector is triggered, accompanied by three authentic sound effects. The item is contained within its original cardboard retail window box featuring graphics of Darth Maul and a gold foil label reading ANIMATED DESTROYER DROID ROOM ALARM. The lower right corner of the box bears a logo for TIGER ELECTRONICS, LTD. The rear of the packaging includes a Jedi-Master Points proof of purchase and legal text reading 1999 Tiger Electronics, Ltd. 980 Woodlands Parkway, Vernon Hills, Illinois 60061, U.S.A. MADE AND PRINTED IN CHINA. The item is marked as MODEL 88-303 and bears a barcode 0 50626 00865 2. The device requires three AA batteries for operation.

Condition report:
The droid figure remains secured within the internal plastic packaging and shows no visible paint loss or structural damage. The working condition of the electronic components and animated mechanism is not tested. The cardboard retail box shows heavy wear with significant whitening and scuffing to all edges and corners (photo 2). The clear plastic display window is heavily scratched and scuffed across its surface (photo 1). The top flap of the box exhibits creasing and softening to the card (photo 3).
