Description
An assortment of decorative items and jewellery featuring two Aynsley fine bone china animal figurines in the Cottage Garden pattern. The group includes a seated polar bear cub and an attentive fox, both decorated with polychrome floral sprays and a blue butterfly motif. The base of the polar bear is printed with a green Aynsley crown mark above the words EST. 1775 and AYNSLEY ENGLAND FINE BONE CHINA. The fox bears an identical green printed mark. Also included is a Gold shell cameo brooch featuring a hand-carved profile of a woman with upswept hair and a classic gown, set in an openwork wire frame with a simple pin and C-clasp on the reverse. Completing the collection is a novelty crab brooch constructed from orange and yellow translucent early plastic with black bead eyes and articulated-style claws.
