Description
A Victorian walnut revolving piano stool of high quality. The circular seat is upholstered in a dark green velvet fabric, finished with a gold-toned braided trim around the edge. The seat is mounted on a substantial threaded metal screw mechanism which allows for height adjustment. The central walnut pedestal is elaborately turned and carved, featuring a gadrooned and lobed bulbous section above a fluted, tapering column. The piece is supported by a tripod base comprising three cabriole legs, each decorated with carved scrollwork and ending in scrolled feet. The wood has a deep, rich brown finish that highlights the natural grain.
