Description
A diverse collection of vintage and antique collectibles presented in a wooden Harrods tea box. The group includes a pair of opera glasses featuring mother-of-pearl barrels and brass fittings, the bridge stamped with MADE IN ENGLAND. This instrument is accompanied by a grey leather-covered storage case. The collection comprises several ceramic animal figurines including a standing bear in a blue waistcoat, a zebra, a lemur with a chipped ear, and a squirrel. Silver items include a double-compartment stamp box with two hinged lids, a circular tin lid embossed with MOORLAND ASPIRIN TABLETS, a pair of large sugar tongs, and a caddy spoon. Additional decorative pieces include a large dragonfly brooch set with white and green stones, an owl-themed trinket box, and a blue enamel brooch with gold-toned borders. A clear acrylic paperweight containing British pre-decimal coins, a miniature mantle clock, a magnifying glass with a blue handle, and a box of Mickey Mouse playing cards are also present. A cased commemorative football medal is included, with an interior plaque reading ALAN WRIGHT CHALLENGE CUP RUNNERS UP 2005/06. The wooden box is printed in black with Harrods KNIGHTSBRIDGE 50 Tea Bags DARJEELING.
