The mask is surmounted by a circular crest carved with concentric geometric patterns. The ears are rendered as simplified C-shaped forms, and the entire surface is finished in a dark stain with recessed areas retaining traces of white pigment. The reverse of the mask shows rough-hewn adze marks and is fitted with a thin hanging cord. A vertical split is present at the interior top edge.
