Description
A vintage style portable transistor radio in a tan moulded plastic cabinet with gold accents. The radio features a large circular analogue tuning dial with a gold central knob and translucent pointer, displaying stations for FM, MW, and LW bands. The front is decorated with horizontal grille grooves and the brand name BUSH is applied in relief in gold lettering. The top of the unit houses three push buttons for band selection alongside thumbwheel controls for tuning and volume, and a headphone jack. To the rear is a telescopic antenna and a printed caution label regarding the mains lead, which is included as a modern black figure-8 power lead with a UK three-pin plug. Accompanying the radio is a pair of S.G. Brown Ltd Type F headphones with black plastic earcups and a metal headband. The earcups are embossed with the text S. G. BROWN LTD, TYPE F, and MADE IN WATFORD ENGLAND.
