Description
This collection comprises several pieces of decorative glass and perfume containers. Included are two Holmegaard rectangular glass bottles, one clear and one frosted, each featuring a stylised heart-shaped stopper. Both bottles retain circular silver-toned labels marked Holmegaard 1825. The lot includes a moulded glass figurine of a bird, identified as an Avon Bird of Paradise cologne bottle, featuring a frosted finish with a colour graduation from amber and grey to green and blue. Also present is a frosted teal-green glass atomiser bottle with a silver-tone metal filigree base and a grey fabric-covered squeeze bulb. The collection is completed by a pair of diamond-cut glass perfume bottles with gold-tone collars and yellow-tinted faceted stoppers, and a modern rectangular polished silver-tone spray case.
Condition report:
The glass components are in good vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks to the bodies or stoppers. The fabric-covered bulb on the teal atomiser shows signs of age-related wear and may require replacement for functional use. Some bottles may contain minor internal residue from previous use.
