Description
This collection comprises a contemporary sterling silver photograph frame, a commemorative coin presentation set, and a boxed pair of thimbles. The miniature photograph frame is of plain, polished rectangular form, manufactured by Carrs of Sheffield Ltd. The lower front edge is struck with full British hallmarks including the maker mark RC, the 925 fineness mark, the lion passant, the Sheffield Assay Office rose, and the date letter n for 2012. It retains the original Carrs Lustre Silver paper insert. The numismatic items consist of an Australian commemorative coin presentation pack celebrating the official opening of Parliament House on 9 May 1988. The set includes a 1988 five dollar commemorative coin and a 1986 Australian coin, both featuring the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The coins are housed in a clear plastic sleeve with a printed specification card. The lot also includes two thimbles: one gold-toned metal thimble with a stippled surface and decorative band, and one white composition or porcelain thimble. These are presented in a rectangular box with a red velvet-covered base and pink satin-style lid lining, accompanied by a small curved metal fragment.

Condition report:
The sterling silver frame is in good, bright condition with minimal surface marks. The coins exhibit surface toning and age-related discolouration but remain within their original protective sleeve. The thimbles are in fair to good condition. The presentation box shows wear to the exterior and some staining to the interior fabric lining.
