Lot 193:
Description
An interactive electronic figure of the character E.T. from the 1982 film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, produced by Tiger Electronics, Ltd. under licence from Hasbro. The figure is constructed from moulded plastic and vinyl with detailed facial features and blue eyes. It is dressed in a signature red fabric zip-up hooded sweatshirt. This model features internal electronic components designed to allow the figure to speak and communicate with other compatible Tiger Electronics interactive toys from the same era, such as Furby. The item is housed in its original cardboard and plastic window display box. The reverse of the packaging identifies the distributor as Tiger Electronics UK Ltd., based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, and bears the Hasbro logo and CE mark.
Height: 30.5 cm.
Condition report:
The figure remains secured within its internal packaging and appears to be in good cosmetic condition. The original packaging shows visible shelf wear, including creasing to the cardboard, blunting at the corners, and a notable tear and fold on the upper right-hand side of the top flap. The clear plastic window has light surface scratching and minor indentations. Four loose AA batteries are visible at the bottom of the box, having come loose from their original placement. Due to the age of the batteries, there is a risk of leakage or corrosion. The internal battery compartment has not been inspected and the electronic functions remain untested.
