Description
This is a Grain Mk1 miniature chain stitch sewing machine manufactured in England. The machine is constructed with a cast metal body featuring a green crinkle finish, mounted upon a rectangular wooden base. It features polished metal components including a needle bar, presser foot assembly, tensioner, and spool pin. The manual mechanism is operated by a hand-crank balance wheel with a black turned handle, which drives a gear system. The upper metal arm is stamped with the words MADE IN ENGLAND and the manufacturer name GRAIN within an oval. This oval manufacturer mark is also visible on the face of the hand wheel and on a metal plaque attached to the wooden base.

Condition report:
The green crinkle finish remains largely intact with some light surface wear and accumulated dust. The wooden base exhibits scuffing, scratches, and wear to the finish, most notably around the edges and corners. Mechanical components appear to be present and the hand-crank is intact. The item has not been tested for full mechanical functionality.
