Description
An assortment of late 20th-century costume jewellery and fashion watches. The collection includes a Pierre Cardin gold-tone dress watch featuring a circular dial transcribed with PIERRE CARDIN at the 12 o’clock position and QUARTZ at the 6 o’clock position, fitted with a bracelet of twisted decorative links set with clear round-cut stones. Also present is a gold-tone bangle-style fashion watch with a rectangular case, gold-coloured dial, and baton markers. The necklaces consist of a substantial gold-tone curb-link chain with a bolt ring clasp, a silver-tone flat woven-link chain with a lobster claw clasp, a fine-link gold-tone chain suspending a cross pendant with four inset white panels, and a delicate gold-tone flat herringbone-link chain with a spring ring clasp. The lot further contains a faux pearl bracelet with alternating round white faux pearls and open oval gold-tone links, a silver-tone ring set with a large faceted oval yellow stone, a wide gold-tone band ring with a diagonal grooved pattern, and a fine gold-tone band ring set with a small dark circular stone.
Condition report:
Items are in various states of use with visible surface scratches and wear to the gold-tone plating typical of costume jewellery. The silver-tone ring set with the yellow stone shows a heavily textured or tarnished finish. All watches are sold as untested. Marks or hallmarks are not clearly visible on the metal components; items are described as gold-tone or silver-tone accordingly.
