Description
A vintage Silver hinged bangle bracelet featuring an engraved foliate and scroll design to the front section. The piece is crafted from yellow gold-toned metal and is marked on the interior with the maker’s mark AYB within a rectangular cartouche. It is further stamped Silver Hallmarks on the opposite side of the hinge, indicating a base metal core with a bonded layer of gold. The reverse of the bangle is plain and polished. The item is fitted with a box clasp and a fine-link safety chain for additional security.
Condition report:
The item is in good vintage condition. There is light surface wear and minor scratches consistent with age and use. Some tarnishing and wear to the gold plating are visible on the interior surfaces and along the edges. The hinge and clasp mechanism appear to be in working order.
