Description
A diverse collection of items comprising scientific instruments, decorative objects, and various figurines. Technical instruments include a Thornton PIC No P271 Student Log-Log white slide rule, marked Made in England and housed in a black protective case; a metal pressure gauge in a hinged metal case with a dial marked G and P and SQ INCH; a circular travel clock with a blue face and gold-toned bezel marked Germany; and a small metal pocket compass with a hinged cover. Decorative pieces feature a rectangular lidded box with iridescent blue and green abalone shell inlay; a ceramic beer stein with a hinged metal lid bearing an engraved inscription and a relief scene depicting St. Florian; a black and gold Parrot Harmonica marked Made in China; and a cased La Mode Millefiore glass bottle stopper. The lot further includes various figurines such as a silver-toned metal deep-sea diver, a gold-toned elephant with a Thai saddle cloth, three reproduction Terracotta Army figures, a wooden Pinocchio, a small Russian nesting doll, and a carved wooden mask. Additional items include a green glazed ceramic vase with deer motifs, a small white ceramic mug with cartoon illustrations, a miniature portrait in a circular frame, a red leather case with a gold-toned crown emblem, and a black fabric drawstring pouch with colourful Swiss-style embroidery.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good used condition. There is observable surface wear, light scratches, and dust accumulation consistent with age and handling. Some of the protective cases and boxes show external scuffing and wear to the edges. All items are sold as seen.
