Description
A collection of five vintage soft toys comprising four teddy bears and one fabric rabbit. The group features a large jointed teddy bear with golden mohair plush, amber-coloured glass eyes, a vertically stitched black nose, and felt paw pads, stuffed with wood-wool. A smaller jointed bear is finished in beige plush and wears a red ribbon around the neck, with dark glass eyes and a stitched nose and mouth. The lot also includes a large white plush bear with red-tinted glass eyes and a black plastic nose, and a small, non-jointed bear with curly beige plush and dark bead eyes. Completing the collection is a fabric rabbit with a grey body, featuring red and black striped detailing to the ears and torso and embroidered facial features. The larger bears are constructed with jointed limbs and heads.
Condition report:
All items exhibit signs of age-related wear including thinning of the plush and surface soiling. The largest golden bear shows significant wear to the right foot pad with a hole exposing the internal wood-wool stuffing. General play wear is visible across the collection, including minor losses to stitching and flattening of the plush.
