Description
A collection of seven vintage vehicle and machinery badges, comprising examples from British and international manufacturers. The lot includes an Automobile Association (AA) member’s grille badge in die-cast metal with a chrome finish, featuring the stylized intertwined AA logo surmounted by a crown, with the serial number 2C57968 stamped on the lower section. It remains attached to its original mounting bracket and threaded bolt. Also included is a shield-shaped Rover Owners Association badge in metal and enamel, featuring the text ROVER OWNERS ASSOCIATION above a depiction of a Viking longship with red enamel sails on a black ground. The collection further contains a triangular Massey Ferguson (MF) agricultural emblem featuring the letters M and F, a tractor silhouette, and horizontal silver lining on a black ground. Additional items include a circular Triumph emblem with a gold-toned laurel wreath and white lettering on black; a circular chrome-finished Volkswagen (VW) logo; a blue oval Ford badge with silver script; and a chrome-finished winged emblem in the form of a stylized letter with horizontal speed lines.

Condition report:
The items are in used, vintage condition with visible surface wear across the collection consistent with age and outdoor vehicle mounting. There is evidence of pitting, oxidation, and loss of chrome finish to several pieces, most notably the AA badge, VW emblem, and the stylized winged emblem. The Rover enamel badge appears in relatively good condition with vibrant colours and minimal surface loss. The mounting hardware on the AA badge shows significant corrosion.
