Description
An assortment of enamel lapel pins and badges featuring the official crest of The Football Association (FA). The majority of the items are of rectangular form with either white or aged cream-coloured grounds, each displaying the traditional three blue lions emblem above the text THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION. The reverse of the pins features either butterfly clutch or safety pin style fasteners. Included within the group is a novelty pin in the shape of a black sock and a single circular badge with a contrasting design. Most items are individually contained within clear plastic adhesive bags. The items are constructed from base metal with enamel finishes.
Condition report:
Condition varies across the collection; many items appear to be in unused state within their original packaging, while others exhibit surface wear and significant yellowing to the enamel or white ground. Light tarnishing is present on some metal components.
