Description
An assortment of various lapel pins, badges, and a medal, primarily constructed from metal with coloured enamel finishes. The collection features a significant quantity of small rectangular pins bearing the three lions crest and text for The Football Association. Other notable items include a Canadian pin depicting a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer on its original card marked G.M.B. Made in Canada, a shield-shaped badge for the Durham County Rugby Football Union, and a USA Rugby pin.
The group also contains a gold-toned circular medal in a sleeve marked KIM SPORT, a green and blue enamel Bowls Club pin, a golf-themed pin on a card titled FLAG, and a pin depicting a red maple leaf. Many of the items are individually housed in protective clear plastic grip-seal bags. The pins vary in attachment styles, including butterfly clutches and safety pin fasteners.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good condition. Many items appear to be in an unused state, protected by their individual plastic sleeves or original backing cards. Minor surface oxidation and light wear consistent with age may be present on the metal surfaces of exposed pieces. The enamel work remains largely intact and vibrant across the assortment.
