Description
A bench-top table saw manufactured by Power Devil, model PDW5012PB. The unit features a red plastic housing with a cast aluminium ribbed table top. It is equipped with a 10 inch (254mm) circular blade and an adjustable mitre gauge. The front control panel includes a blade height and angle adjustment wheel, a master on/off switch with a protective cover, and a circuit breaker reset button. Technical specifications on the identification label state: no: 4800/min Max., Maximum Cutting Depth 90 degrees = 75mm, 45 degrees = 63mm, Blade Diameter 10 inch (254mm), AC 230V~50Hz 1500W, Made in PRC. The saw is fitted with a UK standard 3-pin power cord.
Condition report:
The tool is in used, uncleaned condition with an accumulation of sawdust and workshop debris throughout the housing and table surface. The aluminium table top shows surface oxidation and staining. Several safety and functional components are missing, including the original rip fence, the blade guard, and the riving knife. The mitre gauge has been modified with an improvised wooden auxiliary fence. The item is untested for electrical safety or mechanical functionality.
