Description
A vintage Princesound Executive Music Centre, comprising a portable integrated audio system housed within a briefcase-style travel case. The unit features three primary components: a compact turntable for vinyl records, a top-loading cassette player and recorder, and a four-band analogue radio tuner covering FM, SW, MW, and LW frequencies. The lid of the case contains two integrated speakers protected by blue fabric mesh grilles. The control panel includes rotary knobs for volume, tuning, and function selection, alongside vertical sliding faders for tone and balance. The cassette deck is equipped with standard mechanical control buttons. The housing consists of a silver-toned metal-edged briefcase with a black plastic carry handle and dual metal latches. This model is visually identical to the Sunny-Vox Model 6000 and was produced for the UK and European markets during the late 1970s or early 1980s. A measuring tape is partially visible to the left of the unit.
Condition report:
The item is in poor, uncleaned condition and shows significant accumulation of dust, dirt, and surface grime across the entire interior console and speaker grilles. There are loose and tangled wires present on the surface of the components. The exterior case shows scuffing to the edges and wear consistent with age and storage. The unit is sold as seen and has not been tested for working order; it will require professional cleaning and restoration.
