Description
An assortment of vintage portable transistor radios from prominent manufacturers. The collection includes a Roberts R600 model featuring a black casing with a silver-tone front grille and wood-effect end panels, controlled by a top-mounted analogue tuning dial. Also present is a Roberts R505 radio, designed with a black textured cabinet and horizontal metal grille slats, with a dial displaying various UK stations including BBC and local radio. The lot features a Hacker Ranger portable radio housed in a wood-effect cabinet with a top-mounted tuning panel protected by a clear cover. Completing the group is a Vanguard Multi-Band Solid State radio in a brown textured faux-leather wrap, featuring a large front-mounted analogue dial with bands for aircraft, high police, weather broadcast, and marine frequencies, alongside sliding controls for volume and tone.
Condition report:
All items are in used vintage condition with visible surface dust, scuffs, and age-related wear to the cabinets and grilles. The Vanguard unit has a small paper label adhered to the front casing. All units are sold as collector items and their functional working status is untested.
