Description
A collection of vintage portable transistor radios comprising several different models. Included in the lot is a Roberts Revival R250 radio, featuring a black vinyl-wrapped cabinet with a gold-tone front grille and a leather carry handle. This model includes an analogue tuning dial for FM, MW, and LW bands with cream-coloured control knobs and push-button selection. Also included is another Roberts portable radio, possibly an R200 or similar model, featuring a black vinyl body with wooden side panels and a silvered mesh front grille. The collection further includes a Binatone Solid State pocket radio with a silver-toned and black finish, housed in its original black leatherette carrying case. The final item is a multi-band portable radio in a black plastic case, equipped with a telescopic antenna and an analogue slide-rule dial covering FM, SW, MW, and LW frequencies.
Condition report:
The radios are in used, vintage condition. Visible surface dust and minor age-related wear are present on the cabinets and carrying cases. All items are sold as seen and have not been tested for working order or functional performance.
