Description
A hand-blown studio glass paperweight by Caithness Glass, Scotland, entitled Moonbeam. The spherical piece features a deep cobalt blue cased exterior. Centred within the clear glass is a suspended amber-coloured core, which is enveloped by a swirling spiral of fine, white controlled bubbles, creating a celestial or stardust effect. The paperweight is finished with a flat, circular polished base. The base bears several hand-engraved inscriptions following the curvature of the edge, including the maker Caithness, the origin Scotland, the pattern name Moonbeam, and the limited edition number 130/650.

Condition report:
The paperweight is in good overall condition. There is minor surface shelf wear and light scratching visible on the polished base, which is consistent with age and use. No significant chips, cracks, or internal bruising are visible.
