Description
This is a commemorative medallion set issued by the Rover Group in 1995, titled Portfolio Models. The collection consists of three circular gold-tone metal medallions housed within an original presentation case. Each medallion features a beaded perimeter and depicts a specific vehicle launched by the manufacturer in 1995. The first medallion displays an MG F in profile, inscribed with MGF, LONGBRIDGE, and 1995. The second medallion shows a three-quarter view of a Rover 400 series, inscribed with ROVER 400, LONGBRIDGE, and 1995. The third medallion depicts a Rover 200 series, inscribed with ROVER 200, LONGBRIDGE, and 1995. The maroon textured leatherette presentation case features a white satin-lined lid interior, printed in gold with the Rover Group name, the Land Rover oval logo, the Rover Viking longship logo, and the text PORTFOLIO MODELS 1995. The medallions are recessed into a white flocked base.
Case width: approximately 17.5cm.
Condition report:
The medallions are in excellent condition, retaining a high reflective lustre with no significant signs of tarnishing, pitting, or surface wear. The presentation case is in good condition, showing only minor shelf wear and light scuffing to the exterior edges and corners.
