Description

A diverse collection of commemorative and souvenir items, primarily comprising German lapel pins, British dance competition awards, and royal commemoratives. The lot includes a commercial display card from HIBAG Markenvertrieb (D-6057 Dietzenbach) featuring multiple enamel pins depicting Bavarian landmarks such as Neuschwanstein, Munich, and Zugspitze, as well as cultural motifs like Oktoberfest and the Munchner Kindl. Several pins feature crossed flags of Germany and the United States.

Also included is a group of competitive dance medallions and award badges, many associated with the Northern Counties Dance Teachers Association. These are presented in various finishes including gold-toned, silver-toned, and patinated bronze-toned metals, with several featuring coloured enamel bars and relief designs of dancers.

The commemorative section features British royal items including a gold-toned The Queen’s Golden Jubilee 2002 medal and a bronze-toned The Platinum Jubilee 2022 medal. A carded Military Service Co. pin commemorates the 9/11 anniversary, featuring the Statue of Liberty and the United States flag with the text One Nation Under God and Let Freedom Ring. Additional items include a Swim School medal on a blue ribbon, a gold-toned medal on a red, white, and blue striped neck ribbon, and various smaller enamel badges in protective sleeves.
