Description
A pair of vintage hand-painted plastic toy figures on horseback, attributed to Britains Ltd. The lot comprises a representation of HM Queen Elizabeth II at Trooping the Colour, depicted riding side-saddle on a brown horse. This figure is housed in its original blue cardboard retail box featuring a pictorial lid with an illustration of the Queen on horseback. The second figure is a mounted Life Guards officer in a traditional red ceremonial tunic and plumed helmet, positioned on a white horse and holding a sword. Both models are manufactured from moulded plastic with hand-painted finishes.
Condition report:
The figures appear in good overall condition with minor paint wear and small surface abrasions consistent with age and play. The original cardboard box displays light shelf wear, with some rubbing and minor creasing to the edges and corners.
